LIMERICK’S Ursula Looby scooped the prize of Best Dressed Lady at the final of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger in Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Saturday night.
The four stylish finalists from each week of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger returned and upped the style stakes in an effort to secure the winning spot. Ursula from Glencairn, Dooradoyle took home the coveted title of Best Dressed Lady along with a €1,500 prize voucher sponsored by Crescent Shopping Centre.
The runners-up in the Irish Greyhound Board Best Dressed Lady Marathon at the final of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger final were Indu Chaudri from Kildimo, Limerick, Maria Stack from Listowel, Co Kerry, Lisa O’Neill and Nikita Purcell - both from Limerick.
The finalists were chosen by representatives from four stores in the Crescent Shopping Centre - Next, Shaws, Pamela Scott and A-Wear - and were invited back to Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Saturday night to battle it out for the overall title, judged by style queen Celia Holman-Lee and John Davitt from Crescent.
Speaking after Ursula’s selection, Ms Holman-Lee said: “The Best Dressed Lady competition is a great way to celebrate the unique style of our Munster ladies and our finalists really showcased that style. The standard was incredibly high and each of our finalists really made a huge effort with their outfits. Unfortunately there can only be one winner and Ursula was very deserving of the Best Dressed Lady title, both John and I agreed that her sleek look was the perfect winning outfit”.
