STARS of the screen and stage including Feirm Factor winner, Pat O’ Connor, and X Factor contestant, Deirdre Lawlor, have joined forces to launch an exciting fashion extravaganza to support the local fashion and entertainment industry.
Fifty Shades of Fashion will showcase the very finest from the local fashion world featuring local and international designers along with displays from professionals in the beauty industry.
The event which is being hosted by FH Events and Ballyhoura Community Radio will take place on Saturday, September 29 at Bulgaden Castle, Kilmallock.
Speaking at the launch of the event, organiser and personal stylist Fiona Hayes said they have put together “what promises to be a fantastic evening for both ladies and gentlemen”.
“Fifty Shades of Fashion brings something a little different to the table, combining style icons such as Barbara McMahon, designers and local boutiques along with entertainment from well-known personalities,” Fiona explained.
RTE’s original style guru, Barbara McMahon - formerly of Head to Toe - is MC for the evening. The best dressed will be chosen by TV3 presenter Conor Clear.
The highlight of the evening is a fashion show featuring designer Marion Murphy Cooney, milliner Aisling Maher, Imasa, Dunnes Stores, The Ivory Closet, Murray’s, Moran’s, Lily’s, Be Fabulous, and much more including a children’s section.
Half time entertainment will feature this year’s X Factor contestant Deirdre Lawlor from Ballysheedy.
There is also a raffle on the night with prizes up for grabs including a wedding make-over voucher from Jane Higgins Sheedy and a personal styling consultation prize from FH Style.
