Limerick dancers take titles at Munster championships

Scoil Rince Ui Bhriain Irish dancing school based in Parteen and Limerick city had great success at the recent Munster Irish Dance championships held in Ennis.

Scoil Rince Ui Bhriain Irish dancing school based in Parteen and Limerick city had great success at the recent Munster Irish Dance championships held in Ennis.

They won three Munster titles, first place Girls u7 Aoibhinn Marren; first place Boys under 7 Fionn O Sullivan McCarthy and first place Girls under 10 Rosie Kavanagh. The school scored a hat trick in the under 7 Girls competition taking first, second and third place.Aoibhinn Marren was first, Grace Malone second and Ella Naughton was third.

Top placing dancers from the age of 10 and over, qualified to dance in the World Championships. Ui Bhriain has the following dancers going through to the World chanpionships in Boston next March - Rosie Kavanagh, Lara Ni Oisin, Kate Hanrahan, Megahn Ryder, Aisling Roche and Erin Grace.
