STRAIGHT talking Republic of Telly presenter Jennifer Maguire is the latest celebrity to confirm that she will be making her way to Limerick on April 29 for the ‘Style in the City’ event.
The feisty television star who has celebrities quaking in their boots on the red carpet thanks to her no nonsense questions will join well-known model, television presenter and beauty editor Rosanna Davison in the South Court Hotel for the fashion extravaganza.
‘Style in the City’ will celebrate the very best of the city and county’s fashion and beauty industry and is aimed at ladies of all ages.
According to local model agent, Celia Holman Lee, it is “fantastic” for Limerick that the two well-known ladies will attend ‘Style in the City’ and bring their style and personality to the event.
“Jennifer has really made her mark on Republic of Telly and of course she also made a huge impression on The Apprentice UK. She is a business savvy lady with a real fun side and she is a real sharp dresser too,” she said.
“Rosanna is very glamorous and very knowledgeable about the industry. She has modelled all over the world and is a household name so we are delighted that she is coming to the event,” said Celia.
Rosanna’s broad fashion sense and ability to “mix it up” she said, means that she appeals to ladies of all ages.
“She really mixes up her look for events. You could see her in a long sophisticated evening dress at an awards ceremony, a smart skirt suit at a luncheon or in a short little number out on the town, ” she added.
‘Style in the City’ which is being spearheaded by the Limerick Leader in conjunction with the Holman Lee Modelling Agency and Bella the Makeover Studio will feature in the region of 50 exhibitors including beauticians, hair stylists and fashion experts. There will also be fashion shows on the day and people will be afforded the opportunity to have a chat with Rosanna and have their photograph taken with her.
“I’m sure Rosanna will say a few words to open the event, ” Celia added.
The event begins at 11am and runs until 6pm and admission is €10. Tickets can be purchased at the Limerick Leader office, 54 O’Connell St, Limerick.
