THE countdown is on to Munster’s largest fashion event which takes place at the Crescent Shopping Centre from October 29.
Inspire is a four-day fashion and beauty extravaganza with style guru, Celia Holman Lee, at the helm.
Speaking at the launch of Inspire 2014, model agency boss and television personality, Celia said the event was “the biggest and best in the region”.
“I’m delighted to take part in Inspire, which is fun and accessible. There is a fantastic mix of events this year, taking in beauty tips, new Irish design and the latest seasonal fashion will on display in the unique Fashion Trails on the Malls,” she said.
On Wednesday, October 29, there will be a beauty afternoon with Celia and Laura Bermingham (beauty journalist—skincare and makeup tips).
On Thursday, October 30, there will be An Afternoon with Celia Holman Lee and Top Irish Design Collective with top fashion designers attending, including Caroline Mitchell, Emma Mulcair, Clare Slattery, Linda Wilson, Marion Murphy Cooney, Natalie King and Antoinette O’Connell.
On Friday, October 31, the Fashion Trail on the Malls will take place in three different locations (Garryowen Mall at 12.30pm, outside Pamela Scotts at 2.15pm and the central concourse at 4.15pm).
On Saturday, November 1, there will be another Fashion Trail on the Mall (central concourse at 12.30pm, outside Pamela Scotts at 2.15pm and Garryowen Mall at 4pm).
Crescent Shopping Centre Manager, John Davitt, said: “We are delighted to host Inspire and welcome regular and new customers to enjoy the many fashion and beauty events. Many of our over 86 stores have a fashion/beauty element and visitors will be able to see the newest looks and products in action.”
Added to Inspire, there will be fun for all the family on Halloween day, October 31. A Halloween party at the playground will kick off on Friday morning from 10.30am with clowns, face-painters, balloons, sweets etc. Children and parents can come in Halloween fancy dress.
