THEN there were four. Sarah McTernan is into the grand final of the Voice of Ireland after success on Sunday’s show.

The 20 year old singer, who lives in Ennis but has strong links to Limerick, joins Kieran McKillop, Emma Humber and Patrick Donoghue in the grand final of the hit television show, taking place this Sunday.

Sarah, who impressed judges with her performance of The Weekend’s Earned It, is part of S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens team, who praised the University of Limerick student as “fantastic” on Sunday’s live semifinal.

“She has grown every single week you make every song your own,” said Stevens.

Fellow judge Kian Egan said Sarah - whose mum hails from Dromkeen - delivered “one of your best performances”.

“It was a smouldering sexy performance. The beauty of your voice is that deep sexy sound I would have preferred you hold back,” said Saturdays singer Una Foden.

“That song is you. You were pitchy at the start, but they are the songs I want to hear you sing. You showed variety in your voice,” agreed Bressie of Sarah’s performance.
