LIMERICK Racecourse has launched two-day racing event to fundraise for the Jockeys Emergency Fund, which is to be held on October 14.

LIMERICK Racecourse has launched two-day racing event to fundraise for the Jockeys Emergency Fund, which is to be held on October 14.

As part of the two-day fixture, there will be a competition of Ireland and UK Jump Jockeys challenge, and Jump Jockeys versus Flat Jockeys challenge.

Opening the launch were Irish and Munster rugby player David Kilcoyne, Limerick trainer Andrew McNamara and Limerick jockey Andrew McNamara.

Tickets can be purchased from any Centra and Supervalu nationwide, and from www.ticketmaster.ie for €10.
