THE funeral pensioner Ann Storen, who died last Sunday after she was knocked down while walking her dog in Corbally, took place this Wednesday in St Mary's Church, King's Island.
Ms Storen was rushed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital after the accident, butlater died.

A well-known Corbally resident, Ms Storan was regularly seen walking her dog, which also died in the incident, along the road.

Deputy Jan O'Sullivan, who lives in Corbally, led the tributes to Ms Storen.

"There were very warm feelings towards her in the Corbally area. There was huge shock and distress about what happened. It's so tragic someone like her could have her life taken away in such a sudden manner," she said.

Ms Storen is survived by her husband, Michael; brothers Tony and Gerard, sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces.
