Limerick drug investigation: 3 men in custody

GARDAI in Newcastle West have detained three men in custody in relation to the discovery of a large number of cannabis plants in the area.
Gardai are carrying out follow up searches in Newcastle West following a raid of a house in Carrigkerry last week.

One man, a Chinese national, was found in possession of hundreds of cannabis plants and was detained in Newcastle West garda station.

Two more men have been subsequently arrested. All three men remain in custody.
