Heroin worth €180,000 seized in Limerick drug haul

GARDAI have confirmed that one of the biggest drugs seizures in Limerick this year took place in Clarina on Monday.
Heroin and cannabis with a combined street value of €190,000 was seized following a major operation involving 18 gardai from Henry Street Garda Station, who were led by Inspector Seamus Nolan.

A total of €180,000 worth of heroin and €1,000 worth of cannabis herb was seized during the raid on a house in the area.

One person was arrested and taken to Henry Street for questioning, but was subsequently released without charge.
