STAFF at Element Six in Shannon are staging a march this Thursday lunchtime in protest at redundancy terms being offered to them.
The industrial diamond manufacturer had initially planned to cut 370 jobs at the facility, but almost 170 jobs are planned to be saved under the survival plan.

The workers, however, are refusing to co-operate with the plan unless improved redundancy terms are offered to their colleagues who will be losing their jobs.

The rally began at 12.30pm this Thursday.
