My Week..with Celia Holman Lee

I am still floating on a cloud after attending the sensational wedding of Limerick beauty Michelle Meaney and well-known solicitor Shane O'Neill at a romantic Italian villa last weekend.

It felt like most of Limerick was in Italy as people gathered to celebrate the wedding of the gorgeous couple. Michelle, who models with the agency, looked stunning in Cathy De Stafford couture wedding gown and her make up was perfected by Limerick woman Rachelle Guiry.

Her beautiful hairdo was created by Jonathan Murphy from Salon 29. Her jewellery was from Tadhg Kearney Jewellers. And the groom Shane O'Neill looked so handsome in a deep blue suit from Billy Higgins. They are certain to have beautiful babies!

And even though the wedding was held in sunkissed Italy, there was a strong Limerick theme, and Michelle walked up the aisle to 'She Moved Through the Fair' sung by The Boatmen, who flew over especially for the wedding.

It was a beautiful ceremony and the guests retired to a marquee at the villa set on stunning Lake Miaggiore to sip champagne while they basked in the sun. The newlyweds made a dramatic entrance to the reception on a gleaming white yacht to rapturous applause. It was like something out of a movie!

I was delighted to get a chance to catch up with childhood friends Mary Cowell, Vivienne Clancy, Trudy Meaney (Michelle's mother) and the De Vito girls Mary and Paula.

It was a weekend most of us will never forget. I wish Shane and Michelle every happiness in the future.
