The ISPCC is looking for volunteers in Limerick

THE ISPCC is looking for volunteers to man its helpline for children in Limerick in 2013.

“If you feel you are passionate about listening to children and have a genuine positive interest in finding out more about their lives, then volunteering with the ISPCC might be the place for you,” said Fiona Jennings, regional volunteer organiser.

Two group interview and information sessions will soon take place in Limerick. Thursday, January 3 (6.30pm) is the date for those interested in being Childline volunteers and answering calls from children.

The ISPCC is also recruiting mentoring volunteers for a programme which helps the child’s social skills through the support of a mentor.

An information evening on mentoring takes place on Wednesday January 9, again at 6.30pm.
