AFTER a hectic Christmas there is an ideal way to relax and get some exercise in the city on Thursday December 27.

Join the local branch of ‘Birdwatch Ireland’ on a unique visit to an urban wetland at Westfields on the North Circular Road starting at 10am.

Meet at the adjacent carpark at 10am and wear warm clothing and strong footwear. Dogs are not encouraged. Attendees can view resident Duck, Swan, Coot, Moorhen, Widgeon and Teal.

Binoculars are recommended or even telescopes. All are welcome to attend.
