CARDS

The card winners from the Community Hall Raheenagh were week 1 Marie and Peg, second divided amoung Pa and Donal, Pat and Kitty, Oliver and Tim. Table prizes to Margaret and Dan, Margaret and Eileen, Liam and Jimmy. The raffle winners were Danny Mulane, Kitty Roche Cloncon, Donal Mulcahy Ballintubber and P.J. Kinsella Kantoher. The winners from week 2 were Maura and May, second divided among Mike and Jerry, Michael and John, Moss and Pat. Table prizes were won by Paddy and Mary, Liam and Bridget, Willie Joe and Annie. The raffle winners were Tim Burke, Theresa O’Regan, Jerry Normoyle and Mary Burke.

LOTTO
St.Ita’s Field Development weekly Lotto results with numbers drawn 4,6,14 and 30 and therewas no jackpot winner. Those with match 3 numbers shared €150 were:

SERVERS
Altar servers to conclude their service this Saturday in St.Ita’s Church Ashford, St. Brigids team of Ellanna Mulcahy and Emily Rose Mulcahy of Toureenagreana. St.Patricks team will commence their week this Sunday, November 29 of Maebh Hennessy and Orlaith Hennessy Cloncon.

CEILI
This Friday night the monthly ceili will take place at Halla Tadgh gealach in Tournafulla. The Abbey Ceili Band will take to the stage with dance music 9.30pm to 1am. Tea and light refreshments will be served to all.

CAR BOOT
The next car boot sale and indoor market will take place this Sunday from 9am-3pm. This is a brilliant opportunity to declutter hire a stall and make some money for the festive season. the proceeds will enable you to purchase for a small fee many a festive presents from other stalls. This monthly event is a fundraiser for West Limerick 102fm, the local community radio station. All are welcome to book a stall from Marion at 087-6866450.

COMPUTERS
Kantoher Development group are running a computer course for beginners which will commence in December in the community room in the old hatchery in kantoher. The course costs €20 and will run for five nights over a five week period. All interested persons should dial 087-1436488 to book a place.

ARRA FRIENDS
Killeedy patrons note the Arra Friends Annual Festive party takes place at the Desmond Complex on Thursday December 3 from 4.30-6.30pm. Dancing to the James O’Callaghan Band. All are welcome.

KEYS
All persons or organisations within the parish wishing to use the hall in Raheenagh the fee is €10 per hour. To obtain the keys dial Willie O’Brien on 086-8443992 or contact Sean on 087-8493361.

TRAINING COURSE
Kantoher Development Group welcome people whom are interested in part-time training in any of the following areas introductory and advanced computers, C.P.C training for existing and new lorry drivers, Job hunting programme start up boot camp. BLOOD BROTHERS
Newcastle West Musical Stage Society in Association with Rathfredagh Cheshire home are staging Willie Russells Blood Brother this Sunday, November 29 at the community Hall Knockaderry. The night will commence at 7.30pm with tickets at €12 available from any cast member or at the door on the night. All proceeds go to Rathfredagh Cheshire Home for the ongoing development and provision of services.

ARDFERT
There are still some places available for the Annual Parish Retreat to Ardfert on December 5. All are welcome to book a seat now by diallling 069-62141.

REMEMBRANCE
All are invited to write the names of your Faithfully Departed on the tags provided and place on the Remembrance Tree’s near the altar in both churches. All will be remembered at all masses during November, lets never forget our relatives and friends gone before us.

SALE OF WORK
The Annual sale of work in aid of the respite Care Centre Dromcollogher will take place on Sunday, December 6. All saleable items, bric-a-brac etc are most welcome. The contact number is 063-83934.

DEFIBRILLATOR
On Thursday night last a defibrillator meeting was held in the hall Raheenagh. Jer O’Connor from the Red Cross gave a detailed outline of the use of a defibrillator and its importance within the parish of saving lives. The total cost of this vital equipment is €2000 approx. at the meeting it was suggested that there should be at least two in the parish, one for Ashford and one for Raheenagh so it could be obtained quickly in any emergency. On the night 25 members signed up for training. The next defibrillator meeting takes place in the hall Raheenagh tonight Thursday 26th at 7:30pm. At this meeting different groups will be set up to cover all areas in the parish and also a date will be arranged to commence training. New members are again welcome to this meeting so that every area in the parish will be covered and have access to the defibrillator
